Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform nursing duties and procedures for the comfort and well-being of individuals.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring individuals' reactions and responding promptly to any adverse events.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with licensing standards and regulations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of individuals.
• Participate in in-service training, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote a safe and pleasant environment for individuals and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current State of Illinois License in good standing, Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to intervene physically in behavioral and health-related crises.
• Must pass background check in accordance with DCFS standards.
